Today, a community memorial service will take place in Singleton, Hunter Valley, to pay tribute to the victims and survivors of a tragic wedding bus crash that occurred in June. Led by NSW Premier Chris Minns, the service aims to bring together those affected by the accident and provide comfort and support. The crash, which occurred 132 days ago, resulted in the loss of ten lives and numerous injuries when the bus rolled at a roundabout near Greta. The service will honor the lives of those lost, recognize their families, survivors, as well as the first responders and emergency services involved in the incident. Pastoral care will be available at the service, and a community barbecue will be hosted by the Singleton and Cessnock Rotary clubs afterwards. The memorial is scheduled to begin at 11am AEDT.
