Summary: Country music star Craig Morgan releases a new EP titled ‘Enlisted’ featuring collaborations with Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, and Jelly Roll.
Country music star Craig Morgan, who recently reenlisted in the Army Reserves at age 59, has released a new EP titled ‘Enlisted’. The six-song collection includes new tracks and reimaginations of his hits, featuring collaborations with A-list and up-and-coming artists such as Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, and Jelly Roll. The EP holds special significance for Morgan, as it was inspired by his reenlistment on the Grand Ole Opry stage, a place where he also spent his last evening with his late son. Morgan hopes the EP inspires others to serve in the military, as he believes recruiting is at an all-time low. In addition to the collaborations, Morgan also re-recorded some of his biggest hits, including ‘Almost Home’ and ‘Redneck Yacht Club’. The new recordings feature contributions from Jelly Roll and Jimmy Buffet-style steel drums, as well as a special appearance by Shelton, who was part of the original ‘Redneck Yacht Club’ music video. The EP showcases the talent of both Morgan and his collaborators, celebrating the current generation of country musicians and the relatability of their songs.
